I live across the country and wanted to send my friends a beautiful arrangement to congratulate them with their new business. Although they delivered it on time, the arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered. Nothing! It looked like something I would come home with from the local grocery store. So, I called to express how embarrassed I was that they even got an arrangement like that. The florist said he would go back and pick up the arrangement and issue a refund. So, I guess a one star for that. To say the least I was very unhappy with the experience. It kind of ruined the whole "surprise" moment.
I ordered a "Brilliance" flower arrangement last week and it was in a way, Brilliant! I couldn't believe that the pictures shown looked as beautiful as it was in reality. I ordered this for my mother for our dad's 5th year anniversary and it really put a smile on her face. When her face flushes with joy I also tear up with joy seeing her that way. The flowers arrived on time and everything went perfect.
Attached are photos of the subject of this review! I ordered the arrangement on the left for 89 dollars to be sent to my Sister via 1 800 FLOWERS. The Photo on the right is what was sent to her by Dhuns Poway Florist. I was shocked & dismayed ...how could anyone think that these two arrangements compare? Being professional 1 800 FLOWERS decided to send a new arrangement by a different florist...which looked exactly like the picture I had selected from their website. The owner of Dhuns Poway Florist called my Family and harassed them saying he wanted the old arrangement back. That he was driving to their house to pick it up etc..... he was completely out of line..rude.. impolite.. but mostly unprofessional!!
The florist made my daughter’s celebration very special. I ordered a bouquet of assorted flowers for her graduation. The finished product amazed me with its uniqueness. She’s like a prom queen.
